[ moderator edit ] problem
i have a stickey problem with the flush part of my toilet if you step on the peddle to hard the slide sticks open if you reach down with gloves on and move it, it will close anyone know how to fix the condition

Lubricate the toilet seal. May need a new one.

i am not sure it is the seal it looks like it goes too far back

I think you can adjust the cable lenght from the pedal make it a tad longer.

The word is "pedal."
To "peddle" is to sell something.
A "petal" is the pretty part of a flower.

I found new parts on line. Removing the toilet is an easy job, you can find diagrams on the manufacturers website. Parts for my toilet were easy to find. I suggest replacing all seals and moving parts.

Some people with good grammar don't have enough experience to know that some use tabs and such with 'auto correct' and its in insistence on using the wrong word.
Now to the OP use the wife toothbrush and clean the flapper, lube and see if this works. If not look for a refurbish kit.
