Modern Auto Air, Ft Myers FL, Did me right. An honest shop that made a mistake but pa

Stopped at Modern Auto Air in Ft Myers FL to have my dash A/C looked at in my 40' DP with side radiator. After replacing the compressor the tech decided to use compressed air to clean the radiator. 125psi of compressed air caused the radiator to leak from a couple of different places. The manager JJ mentioned that the RV Doctor in Ft Myers replaced radiators in RV's as he has helped them with A/C problems in the past. After talking with the local Frieghtliner and the RV Doctor I decided on the latter as their labor was $135 vs $185 per hour. After dropping the RV off at the RV Dr I dropped by and spoke to JJ, he said he would call the owner and felt confident they would not leave me hanging. 12 hours labor, $2200 for radiator plus fluids and Modern Auto Air paid the entire bill. They never even asked if I would split/share the cost.

So if your in SW FL and looking for a honest A/C shop for your RV or car I would say you can't go wrong with Modern Auto Air.

+1 I've used MAA for all of my ac needs for all the years we've lived in FM and they have done me right every time. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I hope you situation is more the rule than the exception as far as taking care of their own mistake. Competent business's carry insurance to cover this type of accident and the better ones aren't afraid to use it!

Thanks for sharing the information. We spend part of the winter near Fort Myers...so it's nice to know where to go if we need service.

I've used them for work on cars, and was well satisfied. Good to know they'll work on MH too.
