Red face Monaco Diplomat '07 Air Mattress

Hello. We have a 2007 Monaco Diplomat that needs the air mattress replaced in the sofa. The mattress case/cover part is fine however the inside that you actually fill with air has a leak that we can't seem to find. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to replace it? And not necessarily with the same product, perhaps foam? Any input would be helpful. We were quoted $386 by our local dealer and that simply seems like too much, especially with the risk that is could happen again.

That seems awfully high for the replacement cost of an air mattress. I know someone who replaced their original air mattress with an aftermarket product, and I know for sure that it was anywhere near the price you were quoted. I want to say that they got it online, but not absolutely sure. It might be a good place to begin the search, however.

I have a 2006 Holiday Rambler Admiral SE with the sofa sleeper with the air mattress. Air Dream is the original supplier for this mattress and you can buy all the parts you need for it ( air pump, valve and replacement air mattress) http://174.121.34.187/~carolina/buy-air-dream-mattress.html and here:

http://www.carolinachair.com/airdreamairchamber.html
And the air mattress cost only $100.00!!! I bought a replacement air pump and valve from them and was delighted with their service and prices! ( they have the best prices of all the the vendors I searched)

Don't know exactly which air mattress you have, but this link solved
my problem. New mattress was under $90.00

Good luck

The Flair mattress seems like a lot of time involved with using it.
