Monaco Dynasty 1996 looking at buying?
Good Afternoon,
We are looking at purchasing a Monaco 40' Dynasty with a 8.3L Cummins with 100k miles. I guess you could call it low mileage for the age of the MH, but does anyone have experience with this model and what to look for? Thanks for any help!
Cheers,
Doug

Can't help much as we just bought our 1st motorhome. A 38' 1998 Monaco Dynasty with the 8.3 DP. It has 63,000 miles and like brand new. If possible look at the service records. You can contact Monaco and request the orignal sticker and options for this rv. Just have the vin # or model #. Happy hunting !!

As my profile says I have a coach of this vintage. But my friend has the same year Monaco but a 38'. We both have replaced exhaust manifolds and radiators. Check the service records if available. Or lift the bed and see if any evidence of replacement of manifold. Radiator bolts and air charger and hose clamps should show some use if unbolted and rebolted. We both have more mileage than that and have no plans to change coaches.

Congratulations, you will enjoy this for years to come.
We just turned 101K miles on our 2002 Windsor and she drives/handles like a champ. I try to stay up on all maintenance so I think we have many years left in her and consider I just retired last year plan on taking advantage of being able to travel.
Good Luck and Happy Travels
