Monaco purchase help and advise please

Looking for first motor home, looked at many so far. wanting older good quality unit instead of newer one. We found a 1999 Monaco Diplomat 38 ft. with 1 slide, diesel with 95000 miles on it. floor plan fits our wants and needs. Unit looks good, price is around 30000 which I feel is pretty good. it has the 275 horse motor. can some of you help us with specifics on this unit for how well it should run, hold up etc. Is this motor a good one, smaller than others I have looked at. I have not seen maintenance records yet but inquiring about these. Southern area near us so not in north with salt on roads. Thanks guys, you are always helpful.

We have a 2004 Diplomat. 330 HP. It works great, and they were a very well built coach.

You might want to try posting this in the Monaco owners forum. I'm sure you'll find lots of input there
