Monaco Signature

I am looking to buy a 2003 Monaco Signature, what do you know about them good & bad.

To tell you the truth, I have never heard anyone badmouth a Monaco.

Signature was a top of the line model for Monaco, so the basics are good. However, in a 11 year old coach, the state of maintenance is nearly everything. An abused or poorly maintained Signature is as bad as any other.

A friend bought a Signature last year that appeared to be a beauty except for some tired-looking carpet. When he took it to have the carpet replaced, he found that water leaks had caused subfloor wood rot in a couple places and spent a few thousand $ extra to get that fixed before the new flooring could be installed.

My wife and I have lived full time in an '03 Sig for over 7 years now. We bought ours in the spring of '06 and moved into it less than a year later. As another post said, the maintenance it has received means a great deal. I do all my own maintenance and know the coach pretty well.

Ours has been a joy to live in and I wouldn't hesitate to pull in the slides and head out to Alaska in the morning. If it has the ISM you are golden.

You obviously have great taste We owned a 2001 Dynasty for 8 years and now own a 2008 Signature. They are fine coaches to be sure! I own a small RV repair shop and do all of mine and several others' coach repairs so I know them inside and out. Happy to give any advice or "opinions" if you need it. Best of luck!
