Thanks much,.! We have a lot in common.....Air Force vet.....fly fishing fanatic.....but we are downsizing from a 40-foot Diesel Pusher to a much smaller coach....don't need the big one anymore....I'm encouraged to hear that you like the Trek.....any significant problems?

I drove about that far to pick up my airstream... made two trips actually... one to look (and buy), and another to take delivery.

Nothing significant yet but it is only 6 weeks old where we have put ~ 1500 miles on it and spent 11 nights in RV parks. We had two minor events so far. We had to caulk where the shower door frame met the shower wall as some water was leaking on the floor. After the caulking the leaking has not reappeared. On one trip two of the four screws that held the stove exhaust fan in place came out where one side came loose. I took the microwave out and replaced the two remaining screws with bolts, washers and lock washers and did the same for the two places the screws came out. It has been solid since and was an easy fix.

We purchased the Trek from a dealer in Thousand Oaks, CA ~ 363 miles from us. And we made two trips as well, one to see, one a week later to drive home. On the way home we stayed several nights 75 miles north of the dealer to shake out the coach and return if any issues came up. None did.

I will say seeing the camera display in daylight is a bit tough given the sunglasses I wear when driving. On overcast days I see it a bit better. I am surprised that I find the mattress comfortable so far.

I hope this information helps.
