Different laws in different states. We started organizing an LLC in 15th of Dec and had to file taxes for that LLC with zero revenue for that entire year.

Oh, okay. Now I understand that you are referring to state taxes and I was referring to Federal taxes.
We are/were domiciled in a no-income tax state so that part didn't concern us from a personal tax perspective. However, I was initially concerned about the LLC being a Montana entity that it might have to file a Montana income tax return but checking both with the state and with our Montana attorney, we found it also wasn't necessary, as cinitall confirmed, if no revenue was being generated.
