Got the bug, here is the latest. These steps are a life saver for DW which has knee problems, and the next thing are the lights that I had put up under the couch so it will light just the ground in front and not blind the neighbors. If you look close you will see that I attached them with wire hangers that are put on the screws that go through the floor of basement floor with small pieces of vacuum hose too hold it up.

Nice modification to the entry steps. Did you continue the design up the inside steps as well?

Suggest adding a handrail on the left hand side. The DW will thank you for that.

Neighbour slipped on her steps and ended up with rotator cuff injury. She is getting new knee in a couple weeks now that the shoulder has healed.

Tried to decreased the height of steps on inside, but didn't like the way it turned out. It seemed to be a lot better with the outside steps being on the same level as the inside step. It gives you a lot wider first step to enter the MH. Had thought about a hand rail but have found that it is just a good to use the one on the MH. When the salt treated boards cure out I plan on sealing them and putting on safety runners on treads .

Are the steps secured to the motorhome?

I wondered how lights under the couch would blind the neighbors, then I saw the photo of lights under the coach.

Nice looking steps!

Dadburn spell check. The steps just lay on the MH step, but you can put eye bolts on bottom of sides and put a rod through it and into the ground. Have not ever had a problem but can see your concern.

Spell check probably wouldn't catch it. I used to only notice my mistakes after I'd run them in the copier and made 120 copies for my students!
