Motor home door hinge problem.

Hi all. I'm new to the forums and am very impressed with the wealth of information to be had on here.

My wife and I just purchased a new-to-us 40' diesel pusher that was apparently, a repo, or at least that's my assumption given the condition of the door. Nothing aligns right and it appears that the door lock and dead bolt have given up the ghost. (it's a 1998) on a Spartan chassis with the full, bus-type door.

My question is: is there a way to repair/beef up the door hinge and, if not, are they extremely expensive to replace? I can pick up the door from the bottom corner and there is a whole lot of play. It also causes the automatic steps to work intermittently because making that micro switch is hit or miss.

Any input/assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
