Motor home inspections

We'll be traveling to Fla. later this month for some vacation. We plan to look at some used DPs. How does one go about getting a moho inspection by a private party after we return? Is there a reputable service for these things? What would you do?

Thanks in advance

Looking at a 2010 Tiffin Phaeton at a dealership in Tampa in a couple of weeks. We live in Chicago. Would it be a good idea to have an independent inspection done if we like the unit? And how do you find someone to do this? Any ballpark of what to expect to spend on an inspection? Thanks for any info anyone can provide.

The best thing is to post on the Tiffin forum, your request. I do inspections in Texas and get $350 for a detailed report. I also take photos - the ones you need to see- not the ones the dealers want you to see. There should be some folks in Fla this time of year to help you out.

I am sure there are several in the area that have experience to look at the unit for you that have good experience with Tiffin products. If you have a problem give me an email and I would look at it for you.

Do you work the Dallas Fort Worth area Ernie? Looking at a couple of Allegro Buses there. Do you do the chassis and the house both? Are you a diesel mechanic? Thanks.
