Motor Home Insurance Quote

I have been shopping around for Motor Home insurance and ran up against a problem with Blue Sky Insurance. Here is what happened when I asked for a quote.

Just tried to get a quote from Blue Sky. I was told that they would not insure me because I am 75 years old or older. They also stated that they would not insure a motor home for less than $20,000. That leaves me out on both counts.

I used Hi Sage Insurance in Escondido, CA. They were able to find me MH insurance for a good rate. They were really good to work with. Their website is Hi Sage Insurance - Your RV, Fifth Wheel, Travel Trailer, Motorcycle, Boat insurance specialists over 25 years and their phone number is 800-887-8467.

I already have insurance, but was getting quotes to see if I could find better insurance for less money. My current insurance is with AARP / Hartford. Been with them 27 years. No one has ever beat them in the past except on RV insurance. So far Progressive and good Sam Rates are about $200 a year Cheaper. I have not tried Allied yet as they have many bad reviews. I have had both Good Sam and Progressive in the past and will probably go with one of them.

I reduce our insurance to fire and theft while in storage. Saves hundreds. When we retire I will do the same when we sit idle in a campground.

I've used Hi Sage for many years and am very pleased. A few years ago they suggested a change in policies because the price went up on the existing policy so I ended up with a different insurance policy/company. I think in the 25 years or so they have recommened changes twice, both to my benefit. It would be easy to give them a call for a quote. I don't hesitate to recommend them.
