Thank you! I'm in Canada and we still have snow so it will be a month or so before I start the install. I have taken a lot of measurements, it looks like it will work for me. Meanwhile, I have a month to source all the supplies that I need. Thanks again and if I get into a jam I'll message you!

This is a great conversation on install and photos for the Hydralift. We have a 2010 Newmar Ventana 3933 and just purchased a Hydra lift. I did the calculation and we are within 300 lbs to the max weight on the rear axle. We will just move our heavier cargo to the front compartments of our coach. I'm going to install it myself, was originally going to weld in place but NOT now. Scott's idea of welding the mounting plates to angled steel and bolting to the main frame is a great idea. I will do the same thing with quick connects and powder coat before final install. I will post photos when I'm complete. Thanks to everyone for your ideas! I'm really glad I found this conversation, I've been searching now for a while on differend ideas.
Good luck on the install. Post some photos and tips on your install.

Thumbs up

I did a whole lot of research on equipment options to carry my motorcycle on my DP. At one point I had decided to get the Hydralift, but then I realized that it takes electricity to operate it, so I don't get the point of the hydraulic system. Therefore I decided to get a full electric lift which has advantages over a hydraulic lift. If anything breaks, replacement parts can be bought at Home Depot. Getting hydraulics fixed on a trip can take up wasted days. Plus a leak sprays hydraulic fluid all over the place. And the Hydralift costs 50% more than an electric winch type lift. So before you buy the Hydralift, consider the Cruiserlift. Cruiserlift RV Motorcycle Lift System
