Motorhome Comparison ?
In the used, 2000-2006, 32'-34' range / gas Class A RV's, what brands or makes do you consider a higher quality or better built motorhome?
I have owned Coachmen, Georgie Boy, and Holiday Ramblers Class A's
I like the Holiday Rambler's with their medal sides and roofs. But I don't know much about the other brands out there.

In gas chassis coaches for those years I like HR Vacationer, Monaco Monarch, Newmar, and Fleetwoods top of the line gassers, the Southwind and Pace Arrow. Newmar built some gas versions of their higher end models, e.g. Mountain Aire, in those years and they were great gas coaches. The gas Kountry Star was pretty nice too,

Holiday Rambler became part of Monaco (don't know the exact date) and after that they were built with generic Monaco construction. Not necessarily bad, just not the old HR.

Doesn't the HR Vacationer of those years have the dreaded RR4R chassis with the trailing arm issue?

I am really happy with my Triple E Commander but they are more common up here in Canada than in the US.

Consider Newmar Mountain Aire Gas (MACA). For gas powered coaches this is a top of the line coach. Same interior as the diesel, just shorter for the gas powered engine.

They were gassers I had a 04 on a ford

I'll second that .......... I fulltime in a Mountain Aire gasser.

IMO I would look for something on a Workhorse chassis. We have 2004 class A 37 ft. with 87,000 miles. It has been great. Also if I was to get another one, purchase one that the company is still in business.
