Does anyone have any advice on who to use for an inspection in the Ft. Myers

North Trails RV is located in Ft Myers. If they can't do it they should be able to recommend someone to do it for you.

Good luck!

Horners Auto Repair in Punta Gorda was recommended to me by the owner of RV Kountry in Fort Myers. He told me the inspections were about $200. I have never used them but came highly rated.
Their contact information:

Right on I-75 in Ft.Myers, there is a very large Camping World. They have well-trained techs and they can quote you an inspection over the phone.

Here is a service that will come to you. I live in Ft Myers and have heard nothing but good about them. Mobile RV Repair

I have been to North Trails and I wouldn't trust them to inspect anything. They are in the sales business and if they didn't sell it to you will they really be bias? Same with Camping World....Big names, but will they be bias with an outside purchase?

What kind of MH are you looking at? Gas, diesel? How old? Just curious, might help determine the level of inspection you should look for.

If I buy again I want to do more extensive road tests looking at handling, braking, engine temps etc.

I'd avoid places like camping world. I would check some of the people who have been suggested that come with recommendations. Good way to interview your future mechanic.

I just spoke to Gordon of Quality Matters (post 6 above) and he told me he does perform pre-buy inspections. He's currently working on a 5th wheel across the street from me. He has done work on my MH in the past with great results.
