In addition, Texas has no income tax and no personal property (ad valorem) tax, so $151 doesn't sound bad. IIRC, registration is ~$80/year for my 5th wheel.

NC $28 for registration , but not until state inspection is complete there is a Max wieght for smog check my MH exceeded this, inspection was $10. Then county & or city will tax it as property tax based on value. Mine was $330 lat year, should go down or stay relatively the same this year.

Tough question given registration, title fee, sales or use tax, and personal property tax are handled differently state to state.

In VA registration I think was less than $100.

Title fee probably $50, but can't be done without paying sales/use tax of 4.5% of the retail value or sale price.

Depending on which county or tax jurisdicition you live in you could be subject to annual personal property tax of up to about 4.5% of the current NADA retail value.

In North Carolina 1 yr plates only $28.00. Initial Plates for registration you have to pay a road use tax of 3% of RV value minus amount of trade-in.

For a 24' TT is $41.50 for the year...(tags) here in Ohio....But we have a new Governor, who is looking to make up a $8 Billion shortfall, so who knows....I better pay my $41 and be quite...here in Ohio.
If I had to pay multi-$1000's a year to operate my RV in a state, that would make my decision after reaching retirement to move....very easy. With MI. high registration and tag costs, I wonder how RV dealers sell RV's...in that state....??

$298.50 for a 4 year registration here in NJ for our new 2010 Itasca Meridian V Class 34Y DP. An RV over 2 years old gets cheaper. See, NJ isn't so bad after all
