At a dealer, price isn't the only thing that's negotiable. Look at tire age and batteries. They often realize that a savvy buyer will insist on replacement with new and that's factored in to their asking price. It can add thousands to the dealers cost of sale. If the buyer accepts "as-is" they hit a home run.

PPL is a good starting point. At least you know what used models actually sold for. Thus giving you a great "heads up" while web searching or visiting local or distant dealers. Saves you a lot of time and money. If you use due diligence and review a reputable dealer IMO your ahead of the game as the dealer, again reputable, will offer a finished product vs. a repo, "as is" or buy from a private owner. JMO but well thought out!
