Motorhome windshield

I have a 2004 Pace Arrow 37C, got a rock from a truck and broke the right side windshield (2 piece windshield). Need to know where I can get it replaced by someone that knows RV windshields. I am in South Carolina. Thanks in advance for any help.

Safelite has replaced my PS windshield twice.
Here's one in Charleston: Safelite® N. CHARLESTON - - Windshield Replacement | Windshield Repair
Do a search on that site for one near you.
Or call your insurance co., (they will find someone for you).

I suggest you contact your insurance company to see if they have a contracted glazer. Some states require coverage, others don't, but you should check just in case.

Thanks, one good thing is that there is no deductible for glass breakage in South Carolina, so it will not cost me anything. The people that the insurance company uses the most don't do RV windshields. Talked to a guy yesterday and he said that once they install one they are married to it and he said that sometimes when an RVer goes into a curve the windshield may pop out. I told him that taking a curve would not do that and the problem is someone not using the jacks correctly. I will see if there is a Safelite around.

I just called Safelite and was told that they don't replace RV windshields. They repair them.

Why is it so difficult to find someone to replace an RV windshield.

A local Fleetwood dealer who does repairs would have a glass company on tap for such repairs. As a matter of fact any MH dealer should also have a glass company referral, Worth a try,

That must be a relatively new Safelite policy.
Sorry.

Since you have insurance that covers glass breakage, call your insurance agent and have him do his job....(there's no reason that you should have to locate a windshield and/or an installer).

I just had mine replaced the insurance company Foremost, used RVglassexperts.com They had 165 windshields for my 07 Sea Breeze in stock. They have trained installers all over the US. They did an excellent job no surprises.

I just had the right hand windshield in my 2005 HR replaced in Roswell NM.......Safelite sent me to Duncan Systems and they shipped the glass to Jet Auto Glass in Roswell and they installed it in about 2 hours. The whole time frame was less than 1 full week from the first call to the install......Real happy with a real expensive piece of glass.......

I just talked to Safelite again and they said they could not fix it if the whole goes all the way thru. They gave me the number for Duncan Systems, will give them tomorrow. Also will check with RV Glass Solutions. The reason I am doing the research is I want to feel good about who in doing it.

We have had 5 windshields replaced by Duncan Systems. Very pleased with their work. One was replaced at a FMCA rally in Perry, GA and the other 4 at their facility in Elkhart, IN. You would not believe the size of their warehouse full of windshields. I believe they have 1,300 authorized service location across the country.
Their phone number 1-800-551-9149.

Mine cost just under $1000 installed, $750 paid by my Insurance Co.... $250, (the deductible), by me.
I received no windshield/labor "price break down".
