Mud flap replacement

My original mud flaps were a hard plastic, They had become brittle and were breaking apart.

I lost one of them in January some where on I-75 between Dayton and Toledo.

I visited one of our local Auto /Truck parts stores (Advantage Auto Parts) and bought 4 new rubber flaps for $6 each.

I used the old flap as a guide and cut the new ones to fit, new self drilling sheet metal screws and washers. It took about 60 minutes to redo all 4 flaps..

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.

I paid $19.00 but they are longer. Love um. I'll have to add one on the passenger side front, there wasn't or had been one there. Not sure why but I'm adding one this spring. It should help the steps from getting rocks pinged off of.

These are 32 inch long - They had the 36 inch long for $8. These aren't real high quality. but I believe acceptable for the price.
