Well, just got back from Camping World, and they told me they could not install the mud flaps because there was no place in the back to attach them. But it took one of the mechanics there 30 minutes to figure out how to replace the windshield wiper blades. They told me my only option was to use the horizontal guards. We have a place called Carpenter's Campers here in Pensacola. I think I will let them take a look at it tomorrow to see if CW is full of it. Have any of you with Thor Coaches had a problem installing mud flaps for towing? Thanks.

I live in Fort Walton Beach and I have had some horrible experiences at Camping World all across the country. I found a place in Milton named "Bill's RV". I have fond him to be reasonable and competent and I drive up there any time I need anything done.

Thank you Ira. I keep my coach in covered storage over in Crestview, although I live in Pace, adjacent to Milton. I pass right by Bill's RV on the way to Crestview. Think I'll stop by there today and have him take a look at it. Looks like you also have a Four Winds Hurricane. Mine is a 33T. I see that you tow a Jeep. Do you have the mud flap on your coach? Thanks again.

Yes, I have a mud flap. I also had one on my Bounder in 2008 when I towed the jeep to Alaska but the gravel roads still did a lot of damage to the paint on the jeep. I also put on mud flaps on all four wheels while in Alaska ton help prevent the damage the jeep was doing to itself. On the jeep, that is.
