My Couch Replacement

I removed my sofa with inflatable mattress and replaced it with a reclining love seat. I mounted the love seat to a 3/4 inch sheet of plywood by cutting out holes for the love seat feet and fixed them to the plywood with angle brackets to love seat feet. The loveseat foot holes were made to keep the loveseat at the original level and to add restrictions to lateral movement. The angle brackets are to keep the loveseat feet in the cut out holes. The plywood is mounted to the floor using the same holes that mounted the original sofa.
I would appreciate any comments on this... I think is should be at least as solid as the original mounts.

I did the same thing with a Loveseat that has a console between. I just added an extension to the slide out floor, put wheels under it for support and carpeted it to match. When the frame was removed from the bottom, it left two recliners and a console. I put each piece into position and secured each recliner to the slide out floor. The console is in between and can be flipped forward to get at the storage space behind the recliners. When the slide out is extended or retracted, it just rolls back and forth on it's wheels. Replacing that terrible Villa sleeper-sofa with an extremely comfortable residential double recliner is the best mod we have done.
