Locks only keep honest people honest!
Mine was broken into in a fenced storage area by kicking in shower dome. Took new tv etc. Sadly, it was 24 hrs after we purchased it! Insurance company not happy either. Loud mechanical alarm seems the best prevention.

UPDATE

Well I am embarrassed to say my MH was not broken into. I spoke with the service center that worked on my MH and their tech did leave his greasy hat in the MH...still not sure how the grease stains got on the bed and the couch...but we are a bit relieved that nobody broke in ...but this is a good lesson learned...
Lock the deadbolt!
We are looking into an alarm system.

Thanks everyone for their input!

Good news for your peace of mind.

Having a break in can make you paranoid.

You could purchase A Simplisafe alarm. If cell phone service is available where you store the RV then it can send you and/or police alarm information, It requires 120 volts, but could run off coach battery with a small point of use inverter. Not sure, but I think this type alarm could only be used at one location at a time and cost $15 or $25 per month for monitoring, depending on the level of service you want. We have two Simplisafe alarms at our home and workshop. Work well, easy to arm, disarm, monitor, from cell phone. Makes no difference where we are as long as we have cell service. About $250, you install.

Don't worry. No one wants to steal a THOR product.

Q: Why do THOR motorhome said never get stolen?

A: The thieves couldn't afford the repairs!!!!

Lol!!!!

Glad to hear it wasn't burglarized. Now it's time for getting some taken off your repair bill for them leaving grease in your coach.
