ctpres - I totally agree with jerryhawkins - Drive before you buy!!! You are not buying a house. You are buying a house with wheels. You need to like both.

Homework is key.... in todays world (internet), buyer beware is equally important to salesman beware. Todays buyer are just as or MORE educated than the salesperson. Ive walked into many places (not just RV's) and felt that I educated the salesman.

So, do your homework and don't count solely on the salesman for information... I know it can make them lazy, but why should you be.

Definitely test drive the ones you are considering. However driving the model that was a step up from the one we were considering cost me thousands because we decided on the more expensive one. But it was a good choice.

Educate yourself!!!!! Here's a great resource rv.org. It will cost you a few bucks but it will be well worth the education you get it will be the best money you spend on your rv. When you've read all of their material then go to oodle.com and plug in what you're looking for. It will even email you daily updates it you check the right boxes. Don't be afraid to buy used just learn what to look for and find a coach that fits YOUR needs and wants. Not just what someone tells you they have in stock.
Good Luck and Happy Hunting.
