My TPMS Poll - Mystery or ?

I would appreciate your thoughts on my TPMS poll in another thread. Was this a waste of time?

Here is some history.

Poll thread started 2-14-18.

On 2-16-18, there were 48 votes and 7 posted comments. EeZTire 42% in first and TST close behind at 38%.

On 2-20-18, 97 had voted with EezTire and TST in a tie for first with 41% each. There had been 27 posted comments.

On 2-22-18, 147 had voted with TST leaping into first with 57% and EezTire dropping to second with 30%. 52 had posted comments.

By today (2-23-18), 261 had voted with TST's claim on first place increasing to 73% (191 votes) and EezTire fading to a distant second with 18% (47 votes).

What is interesting is that since yesterday (2-22-18), 20 out of 31 posted comments were by new, or relatively new, forum members who have posted for the first or second time. All but one or two voted for TST. Purely coincidental and statistically insignificant? What say you?

Strange indeed, so suddenly, people decided to open an account just to show their satisfaction on a product...

Very strange...!

I'm not sure what the implication here is.

I noticed the change in results, but not the replies since I stopped reading them after about the third day. This was a good time for it as we are getting ready to buy a dolly and the associated stuff.

Here is why. Just got this in email. I am a TST owner but this ticked me off. Shame on TST!!!

To Our Valued Customers,

We need your help! Attached is a web link to a iRV2 forum poll asking which TPMS system you use. We'd like your vote! Together, let's show everyone how strong the great TST customer base is. If you're not a member of iRV2, it's very easy to sign up.

http://www.irv2.com/forums/f258/whic...se-378923.html

In appreciation of your efforts, we'll make this worth your while. If you send us a screen shot of your vote to info@tsttruck.com, we'll draw 3 submissions after the poll closes. First pull will get one of our new color displays, second will get a pair of sensors, and the third will get a single sensor.

Best Wishes,

Jonathan Gravell

I hope TST doesn’t ever look to me for a purchase after this little routine.

Thanks, raineman. This was one of my suspicions as well. As the Godfather said, "I don't believe in coincidences."

I will be sending an email to Mr. Gravell at TST requesting his acknowledgement that he sent this email. As you know, there is a lot of deception on the internet and I want verification. I don't doubt for a minute that you received it, raineman. Any other TST customers who have received this email?

I may ask that a moderator to delete the poll due to such alleged deceptive practices.

I may replace my TST now. I do not like to support companies that use shady stunts like this. If the owners of TST are ok with this, they don’t deserve my business or my money. I was going to upgrade to the color monitor this summer. Not anymore

Although we should hold our evaluation until I receive Mr. Gravells' response to my email, I placed a call to TST's HQ and an employee did confirm that TST sent out this email. However, I want Mr. Gravell to confirm that the email he sent does not deviate in any material way from the copy I sent him at 9:38 AM Eastern. In a case such as this, I believe it incumbent on all of us to go the extra mile in verification. Then I think it appropriate to consider questions of legality and ethics.

Who cares? They are definitely one of the market leaders due to their equipment and great factory support. If this is all it takes to get your panties in a wad you have too much time on your hands. It's not like it's a world crisis. Buy one or don't your choice.
