Talking Mystery Button

I'm getting more into the nitty gritty of this coach, understanding the wiring and how all of the systems interact with each other. Mounted in the same cupboard as the slide activation switch is another box about the size of a light switch cover. On it, is a button. Press the button and a two digit number appears, the first time it said 25. Pressed it again and it went to 99. Followed up and each time 99 was the lucky number.

Here is a picture, any idea what it indicates? The back is a tiny circuit board, a few wires and a 9 volt battery.

I would never have guessed that!

The fact that I have never used, or never will use that antenna, might be why.

Thanks for solving it for me, I was stumped.

Monkey Run, I don't know why you would never use a manual dish. Even though my elevation sensor died on me, I can still set up my dish in less than a minute, have yet to see an automatic dish do that. I can live without HD.

Isn't it necessary to pay for the satellite signal? If not, I would certainly use it for news etc. As it stands, I am trying to untangle the mess of cables and boxes in my coach so that I have just the free Winegard antenna working. I tried it in Virginia with it collapsed (it was stuck) and was able to pull in several channels but no local news. Once home, I climbed on the roof while the admiral cranked and I assisted and lubricated yet no signal available. I'm probably not understanding this thing. My TVs are both original 1999 but work just fine running through a digital converter box.

Those are neat devices. Mine used to eat batteries quickly so I rewired it with a switch to turn the battery off unless in use.

There's a neat free app for Android, not sure about iPhone, TV antenna helper, that will show you where the local towers are. Very helpful to find the best signals.
