About a month ago, I suggested that there be a forum for National owners. I've heard nothing and I haven't seen too many National owners on IRV2. I guess that's because National is so good that they don't have problems?

I, for one, would like to discuss problems with other National owners as most RVs have differences unique to their own kind. Are there any National owners on here who would like to see a National Owners Forum?

We have had a few request for specific owners forums and we do evaluate each one. Most of the owners forums are sponsored by the maufacturer.

At present the Administrators are in the process of reducing the number of forums and deleting unsponsored forms.

You are welcome to start a specific thread in a General Discussion section specific to your brand.

A National Forum sounds good. We have a '03 5320 Dolphin and are very pleased. Our first Class A. I check the Workhorse forum for chasis info, and I've talk with the National RV service guys and even got PDF files for some schematics on plumbing, 120v and 12v elec, waste tanks...pretty cool seeing how it all is supposed to be.

I also would be interested. I have not had any issues - yet. But would like the support if I do. National has an 'Owners Club' but they really don't have a forum that I can detect. Besides I would rather see it on irv2.net

I just found this forum and would like to see a National RV forum. We just bought a 2000 Surf Side 30', our first MH after 2 5th wheels. We haven't had any major problems yet unless you count the driver side windshield that got a rock chip and immediately broke; the passenger side windshield that came out of the frame; the Bilstien back shocks that had to be replaced because the top hangers were broken; the basement doors that are cracking and warped; the levelers that wouldn't retract all the way. And we've only had it 2 months! Actually I think we are going to like it. We just wanted to try a motor home for awhile. We drycamp 99% of the time with our ATVs and wanted something quicker to set up and a way to tow the ATVs.

Probably 90-95% of any problems or questions that might be discussed in a National RV forum will be common to many, if not all, brands of RVs. Only rarely is there an something totally unique to one brand's design or construction. For that reason, we prefer to see all questions raised in more open discussions, e.g. sections for Motorhomes, Trailers or RV appliances. Where a item seems to be unique to a brand or model, we suggest including the brand/model name in the subject line, e.g. "2003 Dolphin wiring problem" .

Not really. They were established because they seemed like a good idea at the time and before the staff fully understood what the impact would be on the other forums. No new brand-specific forums have been established in quite some time.

Take a look at the messages in any of the brand forums and I tink you will see that few of the messages are really related to the brand per se.
