Question: Can anyone tell me the thickiness of the wall at the rear of the coach? I want to install a window. The Dolphin model has a window but the Seabreeze does not. Also, are there any obstructions (wiring.frame) ,etc. in the center of the rear wall for a window?

You would probably get a better response from the National rv owners forum on this site.. that said, look under the back of your coach, mine has quite a space between the bedroom wall and the fiberglass rear cap. A window their would be nice but for me it is not worth the hassle.

You will find that with the molded rear cap on the Seabreeze that there is no framing to install a window. IMHO the only way to install framing would be to fiberglass a wood frame to the cap after the opening is cut, and most likely will be impossible to do without removing it from the coach.

Thank you to donhoward49 and rvguy40 for your responses. I've talked to a motorhome service place and they can do it but they said around $1000 +. Will see....thanks again. rlapp2000

MY Dolphin has a window---it has an eve of about 6 or seven inches. The rear cap stands out from the rear wall by at least that amount so you need a window and a window box if you will. There are braces running horizontally across the back wall but I have no idea if they would interfer. I know they, or the ones on my Dolphin, are steel and you can locate them with a magnet.

Honestly the full time we have had our coach I do not think we have raised the blinds on that window except to clean it. We do use the daytime shades for addition light.
