I continue to be impressed at how well built our 2006 Sea Breeze 1350 is, especially considering its price point and target market. Never a leak, fiberglass roof, great cabinets, upholstery has held up very well, very few coach noises going down the road. I've been all over and under this RV and haven't discovered any stupid engineering or build mistakes, though I'm sure there are some. Plumbing and electrical are well done. Seems to be well-insulated. We tow a 3300# toad and the 362hp V10 does a great job, averaging 7.5mpg. The engine is very quiet for a gasser, National put a lot of insulation inside the doghouse.
I upgraded to a 4 stage converter, installed a better stereo and did the cheap handling fix. This is our first class A (after 5 travel trailers) and looked at a lot of junk before learning about Nationals reputation for building a good RV. Clearly, it does not compare to my neighbor's new Newmar Dutch Star, but for the money, it's a good place to start.
