Need a Good Chassis Repair Shop Montrose, CO
A friend has fluid leaking from rear brakes and is in need of a good repair shop. He's in Montrose, CO about an 1-1/2 south of Grand Junction. He's a full timer and would prefer to live in it while repairs are being done.
He has a 40' Beaver Coach.
Can anybody recommend something in the area that can accommodate him? I'll try to contact him and have him chime in to give more particulars.

Hey fellow RV'ers,
I am the friend with the Beaver Coach with leaking rear brake calipers. I was under the coach tracing ground cables when I noticed brake fluid leaking off the rear rotors down onto the inner rim of the inside rear wheel. I'm trying to find a truck shop here in Montrose, CO without much luck. I'm pretty sure I don't want to drive it far with the leaks coming from both calipers.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Odd that both are leaking at the same time!

Is it brake fluid or heavier differential fluid? That's exactly the way my Itasca looked when the rear wheel seal started leaking.

Hi Lt Dan, I don't know for sure, it is fairly heavy looking fluid, its dripping off the bottom of the rotors.

Should be easy to tell the difference between brake fluid and diff fluid. One is thin and the other thick. I tend to believe both of your brakes are not going to leak at the same time.

The fluid appears fairly thick, but I cannot be certain. I also believe that it would be odd for both brake calipers to leak at the same time. With that being said it also seems odd that both axle seals would leak at the same time.

Cummins Rocky Mountain
I realize that it is an hour up the road, but if you become tempted to try Cummins Rocky Mountain-Grand Junction, please reconsider. They did not treat us very well, did a ton of unapproved work, made an incorrect diagnosis and left us with a very bad taste in our mouths this summer. They refunded the money we had to pay them to recover our RV and verbally accepted responsibility. However, they did nothing about the non-refundable and unused stator that we bought based on their diagnosis and the hours of shop time we paid just to undo the "work" they did.

Thanks for the info Anthony, the first thing I need to determine is, if the coach is safe to drive up to Grand Junction
