Need Comparison

My wife and I are comparing Entegra Aspire and the Winnebago Tour.
I need honest feedback on both of these from Owners or any other brand you feel is as well built.
We are looking to buy in the next 10 days and we bought a charleston before and do not want to go back down that route.

Might want to look at Newmar as well. Happy hunting.

IMO the Entegra Aspire is a much nicer coach than the Winnebago.

Good Luck!

We don't have either but have checked them out. The biggest drawback on the Aspire is the 100 Gal fuel tank, also the holding tanks are smaller than the Tour. We are on our third Winnebago but when we decide to get an new coach we would consider those two and the Dutch Star. That extra 50 gal. gives you two solid days of driving.

We are awaiting our first motorhome. We looked closely at the Winnebago Tour 42GD and the Entegra Aspire. But we finally decided on a new Entegra Anthem. It seemed to us that the Entegra was better built than the Tour. The 2 year warranty was also part of the decision as well as the comments on the Entegra Owners forum. If I remember correctly the price of the Tour was more than even the Anthem.
JMHO however. You may get a pretty good price on a 2014 Entegra now.

I've heard Winnebago owners lament about the lack of CCC on many Winnebago MHs. Problem was they didn't know it until it got delivered. Obviously, I am talking about new units since prospective buyers of used models have that info available in the coach. If you go that route, find a way to verify the CCC of a NEW unit before you take delivery.

I have not heard that from EC or Newmar owners. I certainly don't have that problem with my unit.

I'm not trying to badmouth Winnebago. I owned one before we got out DSDP. But...CCC is a major issue if you don't have enough to do what you want to do.
