Hope it helps
Ninos.

I sent you this link the other day. It pretty much explains the procedure.

My bedroom slide gear is under the bed in my Bounder. Don't know if it's the same with yours.

Ninos, Is your slide the window seat? If so I would think you would lift the seat or open a cupboard under the seat for access to the motor assembly. The motor will have a brake lever you must move to release and then turn the hex nut to slide in. If it is missing teeth on pinion gear, you would have to push, help the slide out or in to help.

Let me tell you my mh must have been built on a Monday because if its not one thing its the other there is always something wrong with it and my electric steps also stoped working again. Who ever built the damn thing wasn't having a good day and now it passes down to me not having good days (when it brakes)

Ok I finally found the motor for passenger side bedroom slide out for the discovery 39L it is under the TV set and wardrobe set there is a kick panel with a small trim across from side to side reomove that trim and there screws that hold the kick panel remove those and remove the kick panel and the motor is right there. Even though the owners manual says to get to it from the outside compartment it is wrong there is no way possible its got to be a miss print thanks to all for the time and replying. Joe

You might have to release the brake to be able to move the unit with the wrench.

Yes I know but still going to be a project because the problem is actually on transmission the housing is broken in half I called fleetwood and it seems to be a cumin problem because they have the motor in stock and its been redesign and with more torque, now when I get back I will have to call the extended warranty company for that and the motor for the steps, they're not going to like me for all this claims but what can I do if I have it use it.
