Need Recommendation for Step Treads

I am looking for the best non-skid step treads for the outdoor steps. I am currently looking at these: Safe-T-Tread Step Cover - 22" x 7-3/4" Stromberg Carlson Enclosed Trailer Parts TS-100

I have two large dogs and my clumsy self to protect from slipping I have already crashed once badly and want something not slippery. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

cheap step treads

Hey cirquegirl, I bought two cheap, plastic door mats, the kind that look a little like astro turf, wrapped them around my steps, punched holes in the ends and attatched them with plastic zip ties. They work great, keep out a lot of dirt, are non slip, look good, and the price was right.

I use these RV SureStep - your first step towards RV safety along with the RV Sure Step lights from the same company and love them. They have excellent customer service also.

In the bath and shower isle at your local home improvement/hardware store/department

Shower treads. Non-slip thingies for the shower, come in strips, and shapes (Often daisy)
Slip-X Solutions 14.5" Non-Slip Safety Shower Treads - White

Is a sample of what I"m talking about.

If you do not already have it, I recommend some kind of hand rail both inside and outside to aid in stability. I built hand rails on both sides of inside of front door on my MH out of wooden clothes rods. Much safer......ronspradley

Tommy, those RV Sure Steps look perfect - better than what I was looking at because they are bigger and will fit the stop size perfectly - thanks!
