I went through the dealer to replace a rear window on my Crosscountry by Coachman. Replacing the whole window was less than $200 so I ordered. Shipping cost was more than the cost of the window. A glass company should be able to order a new glass much cheaper.

Has anyone had experience with windows in Fleetwood MH's fogging up permanently. We have an Excursion and many of the windows are difficult to see out of. The one by the drivers side makes it dangerous at night.

There are a number of posts on iRV2 about fogged windows and having them repaired. Here is one http://www.irv2.com/forums/f104/fogg...-dr-98604.html there are several more if you search for them. It's a common problem with dual pane windows.

My coach was broken into while in storage. They broke the entrance door glass.
I went to a local glass shop and they made me a new window.
Took about a week so they cut a piece of plexiglass for a temporary fix as we had to make an emergency trip.

Look in the lower corner of one of the remaining windows. It should have a manufacturer's label probably etched in the glass. If it's an Atwood window you can order a replacement directly from the factory. be sure to let them know whether it's single or dual pane.

We replaced a fogged window in our 2001 motorhome, and it cost less than $150.00 delivered to the door.

If it's a Hehr window, you can contact them to find a local distributor to get the replacement glass. Had to replace the window in the door of my 5er when someone broke into it.

If the window rolls down that sounds about right. The drivers door window in our 2001 Adventurer didn't go all the way down because of the profile of the door. There were still several inches of window above the bottom of the frame when it was down as far as it would go.
If the window slides like in our 2013 Adventurer it has to cover another pane of equal size. Ours opens from top to bottom but is only about half the width of the one in our old motorhome.

I have a Fleetwood. I hear they are notorious for fogged windows. I found a company RV Glass Repair Services in North Carolina that made all 3 units for my cockpit window. They had the "pattern" digitalized. Cost was about $600 plus shipping.

It took less than 2 weeks, much better turn around than the manufacture. I had checked my local glass shop, but their glass was not DOT safe. RV Glass Repair Services is nationally DOT approved. I had thought about replacing with plexiglass, but was told it can show scratches easier. I figured best idea is to replace it with as close to the original as I could.
