Need some fast power issue assistance

At an rv park with friends and it is hot outside. Had all 3 ac units operating and then my DW started up the convection oven. 15 minutes or so later we tripped the pedestal 50 amp breaker. I reset and turned off 1 of the ac units and all was good. We ate dinner at our neighbors rv and when we got back the refrigerator had no power. I checked it’s breaker and it was good and found that the refrigerator will run off the inverter but not normal power even after I turned all of the ac units off. The power management system status indicates no load shed and 1 to 2 amp inverter assist. All help appreciated.

On one side of the inverter you'll see a breaker. Observe if it is tripped. It'll pop out. Push it back in.

Checked the breaker and it was ok, also tried to reset the inverter and that did not work either.

Check the power at the Pedestal as well ?
Some times the wires will burn off inside the box.

My wife wouldn't like it, but....

Folks, (3) A/C's running -and- now your wife starts the convention oven too.
No offense, but you have GOT to be expedient with your 110V use. Don't confuse a tethered coach extension cord with your hardwired 100 amp (or more) house.

Oh, and BTW - I might suggest that my wife read up on RV power and associated needs/availability with our coach. Anyone else old enough to remember when 50 amp wasn't even available at a campground?!?

Let me know how that works out for you.

To the op.....

What model inverter.......inverter/charger? Do you have a remote for it? Does it show charging? IE, is there 120VAC getting to it? You checked the fridge breaker, did you check (CYCLE) the inverter/charger breaker? (Assuming that's what you have.....)

If that checks take the little lid off the thing and get a Volt meter in there.

Electrical is a methodical process of elimination. Apparently the I/C (if that's what you have) is not passing through the 120VAC. So either it's not getting any, or it's not letting it through.

Hard to tell from here, especially without data on what you have.

A 50A RV connection has two separate "hot" feeds and a common ground. It sounds like one of the feeds is not working. The breaker in the pedestal is (should be) a double pole breaker. Try turning the breaker off and firmly on again, maybe one side didn't close.

50 amp RV service has 100 amps avalable at 120 volts.

Should consider your ATS - with no power to the coach pull the cover and check for burnt wires on both the A/C and generator blocks. If all is OK, start the generator and see if that gives you power to run A/Cs.

If the ATS is good and the generator will support the A/C needs your back to looking at the power pedestal, then the shore power cord and the inverter.

So we checked all of the rv breakers and nothing tripped we also reset the pedestal breaker no help. Recycled the inverter breaker and there is power to the coach since ac units are operational.
We have a magnum pure sine magnasine with the remote.

Yes, but as csuder99 mentioned, it's actually two separate 50 amp circuits totaling 100 amps. It only takes overloading one of the 50 amp circuits to pop the breaker even if there was zero usage on the other circuit. Since there are three A/C units, two of these are on one 50 amp circuit and the third A/C unit is on the other 50 amp circuit. It's possible that the convection oven is on the same circuit as the two A/C units. Time for the OP to determine which circuit has the two A/C units.

Good news, situation has been corrected.
Spoke with an awesome lady at magnum and she had me turn off shore power and start the generator. The inverter went into charge mode then turned the generator off and turned shore power on and all is good with the world, normal power back to everything.
Thanks everyone for your help.

Was it the Hybrid model inverter.
Sounds like you need to print and laminate / or use labeler for reset mode. Keep at power access door.
Label for conv. oven / not when 3ACs are on. " PLEASE ! "
