Need some new rear tires

I'm pricing new rear tires for my Coachmen motor home. A local tire shop is pushing Hankook tires but I'm not sure about that brand. Does anyone have any experience with this tire. Last fall I bought Firestone steer tires and was leaning to buying them for the rear as well. Any other brand I might look at?
Thanks
Jim

Hankook has a very good reputation. Made in Korea BTW. The Hankook truck tires are darn near bullet proof on class 8 rigs. They have been in the business for about 60 years. I am replacing the tires on my fiver this spring with Hankook. I am not one bit afraid of them after reading customer feedback.

Hi Jim418,
Are you an FMCA member? If so, go to the FMCA web site and read about their relationship with Michelin. It is called the Michelin Advantage Program. The program just saved me about $125/per tire.

Hi,
On our return trip from Georgia after the Christmas with the kids, I found out that one of the rear tires was 'flat' so I went to the 'truck' tire store and found out that the 'flat' tire was no-good. The only Radial tire they had was a Goodyear, so I got that to replace the bad tire. The two on the front are new and the other three on the back (Michelin) came with the MH, so they are very old. I decided to wait until this Spring to replace them.
After checking around local truck type tire stores and on line at places like tirerack, found the best deal for tire size 8-R-19.5 Radial Michelins at, of all places, Sam's Club. Last Monday I ordered three Michelins and will pick them up today and have them installed at the local 'truck' tire store.
Hope this helps some,
C'ya,
Patrick

Check out Costco: Michelins and other brands---saved a bundle on my 235/80 22.5's DOT date one week old.

I put Hankook tires on a 1991 Safari Trek and never had a problem. Had that RV four or five years and at least one trip around the lower 48 states. They served me well without problem.

I put 6 Hankooks on my A two years ago. The ride, handling, noise, is FAR superior to the stock Goodyears. My dad has them on his A too. Also had two sets on my work F150 and just put a set on the wifes Grand Vitara. Not a single issue with them yet.
