Need suggestions for gen not starting

as I explained in my other post my generator has always worked good for the few yrs we have coach..start it when not used every month or two...Saturday jstarted the gen then after anhour or so started coach and gen died...later at destination it wouldn't start or fire..then sunday it fired a few times..tried holding switch for bit as to not turn over then holding again thinking better to warm glow plugs...no luck...its '97 London aire. diesel gen... over half tank fuel..7.5kv. is there a way to test glow plug resistence or draw?? or any other test to troubleshoot.?? I am good at using mutimeter.... thanks much Jeff

Had similar gen problem. would just quit and then could be restarted. I run gen while traveling to run ac/ travel in Fl. when we arrived home gen had quit. Would not turn over or start, completely dead. Had a bad control board at cost of $800 to warranty company.

Here's a simple operation that may help. Mine was acting the same way and this fixed it.
You have an umbilical cord running from the coach to the generator that controls the remote start. In this cord over the generator, you will see a plug connector. Open the connector, spray it electrical contact cleaner, put a dab of Dielectric Grease on the pins and reassemble.

Hope this works.

That's what fixed my unit.
