If it is in good shape, jump on it. $105K is a good price. Is it a Spartan or Freightliner chassis? What model is it? Do yourself a favor and have the codes checked for the engine and transmission. The codes will let you know if you are buying someone else's problem. By the way, we have an 05 40L, great coach.

Thanks for the heads up on codes, I guess we can obtain those when we have an inspection done?? The chassis is a Liberty.
Thanks again

"Seems well maintained" is completely different than proof by
having service records, of proper maintenance. This could be
a good buy, or your worst nightmare.

Traditions are traditionally very good coaches...no pun intended.

Welcome to Irv. Come back often for questions and advise.

A Motorhome is not an investment...its more like a dis-in-investment. So that said, if I has to do things over, I am of the opinion that looking at used maybe best..well maintained (with documents) and NO SMELL. So units have odors that are well....not good. New DP have emission add on stuff that add costs to each unit. Older DP do not have this...my opinion is this is good thing.
Floorplans...floorplan....floorplan. Get what you like best. Remembering you WILL be living with the floorplan as long as you own the RV. So choose wisely.

Come back for more opinions....Happy Trails.

Liberty is what American Coach calls it. It is still a Spartan or Freightliner. With the Cat engine it's most likely a Spartan chassis. The 2 slide 40W is well worth $105K in good condition. Since your doing a prebuy inspection, have them check the front end parts and check the SCA strength in the cooling system along with the codes.
