New Blinds

Got rid of those boxed valances and pull down shades and got these cool wood blinds. I just need to pull a string to adjust the light and I can put my hand thru to open and close the window. They have little hold downs on the sides so they don't rattle when we drive. They come with a little crown molding and look like a house, I love them. Also we got this new double recliner and got rid of the nasty hide a bed.

Where did you get them. I really like them. Do they make any noise when driving?

I want to know how you got your valances off without destroying the wall. Mine are toenailed into the wall with what looks like the equivalent of a ring shank nail, the nail heads then covered up with upholstery. I know this because the bottom end on one valance has pulled loose and I can see the fastener *and* the gaping hole in the wall it left behind

they have metal hold downs on the sides and they don't move while driving.

ours were in with a million nails and the large holes. we filled the holes with almond color putty(caulk, filler) and they blend in with our tan and beige multicolored walls.

Got them from a guy selling blinds, I used the blind guy near el centro, ca but they are available. he comes to the house, measures, pick your color and in two weeks, he comes and installs them, sweet.

Spackle like used on drywall. We can't see the holes.
