New facelift in progress.

Took the old girl in for a new look yesterday should be back in a month. Told them just so she's done by March.

I ask them to sent me some PIC's in progress if at all possible as it is 60 miles to go look at it, I will keep a close watch though.

They are going to fix a repair on the main slide that was done before I got it. It was done improperly and I didn't know how it should be until it would not stay put. Also they are going to change the design and repaint the gell coat so that it will shine and look good. I'm tired of trying to get that gell coat to wax up and shine. They are also re-chalking or re-sealing all the seams so it will be like it came out of the factory. I'll see if I can find a PIC and post it as she looks now and post when its done I'll see if I can find a better PIC and post it later..

Went to choose colors today for new paint job. Kate took a PIC with her new phone so if she sends it to me or figures out how to download it I'll try to post it. It's a case of if you want do know how dumb you are just get a smart phone ( don't tell her I said that ). Oh well we are pretty darn excited to get the finished product home, it shouldn't be to long now.

Going to try to post a PIC of the work in progress, kind of fuzzy but it's the best I could do with phone and shaky hand.

Here is a PIC of the MH before they started. It looks good but decals cracking and as you can see in repair PIC the slide had a issue at bottom. Also no matter how hard I try I just couldn't get the Gel coat to shine in some spots so we decided to get the old girl painted

You're going to love the results. I think it's a great investment to put a fresh coat of paint on the 'old girl' rather than trading for new. Maybe $150K+ for a new one vs. $10-20K to redo your current coach?

No brainer. Congratulations, and yes, please post lots of pictures. We all would like to see your 'new' coach and it's stages of rebirth.

RV Jimmy,
where did you take it so close to home? When we had our 2002 Travel Supreme repainted, we took it to Precision Painting RV in Bremen IN. They had the best price. My buddy is a painter and he said it would cost me more than I paid to get it done at precision. And we had interior work done also.

Good luck though. Can't wait to see it

We took it to a place in Stratford. Got the name from the good people at King's Camper, they said that's where they take all their work. The place is called Kuyoth and they are big into restoreing classic cars, ( they like Mustangs ) They have a regular body shop, RV and truck body shop, and the Classic body section. Very nice people and they come highly recomended. We should find out in a while ( not to much in a hurry yet I have heated storage while they work on it ) will post finished PIC as soon as I get It. Sorry about my spellin should of watched the teach instead of the girls.
