Hi Mike and Pat! I have been thinking of you both. I hope all is well, we miss you. The floor is stunning. Bruce and I did a lot of the demo. We were some tired puppies! Everything turned out very nice. Ernie is a class act. He helped us decide on the wood because when it does scratch, it will add character. It was worth it!

What a beautiful job!!! Just a quick question, when you replace carpet with hard surfaces like this, how does that affect noise in the coach when going down the road?

What a beautiful job they did. I love it. The couch looks great. Also love the colour of the wood flooring you picked.

I love it!!!

I have been trying to find proof that you can get rid of the nasty carpet on the slide out. Every shop that I talk to tells me that it can't be done but now I have picture proof that it can. Our slide lifts so I never could understand why we couldn't. Thank you for the great pics.

Yes, it does. It actually sounds quieter and more solid. We were very surprised.

Contact Ernie! He can help you figure it out. We were going to carpet the slide and I am glad we didn't. He is the only one I know that is doing custom slide work.

New flooring looks great!

I noticed the two recliners you have, how do you like them? Do you know what brand they are?

We are looking to replace a couch with a pair something like them.

Thanks

We have 2 GSDs...carpet is NOT an option for us. We are planning the reflooring for 2 reasons.

1. The grey, slate floor we have just seems dingy and uninviting. We knew it when we bought our MH but we could live with it if need be. From what I have seen, ERNIE , provides a great service at a great price so no need to just live with it.

2. The slate floor is VERY heavy at about 5# per square foot. A quick estimate indicates that we could remove nearly 300# off of the front axle removing it and replacing it with wood. Since we are running right at the maximum front axle weight...this is a big deal.
