So...not wanting to go off topic too much...

If I remove a couch that is anchored down and replace with a euro chair or two do these go without any kind of anchor point for traveling? My Winnebago came with a euro chair and a single bolt through the floor of the slide that used a metal bracket and screw on nut for that. It was not rated for use by a passenger for travel but that was fine with me.

Ron...do you have an idea of the pricing for Lambright?

you can chose to bolt or not. Don't forget, that if you remove the sofa, there are usually seat belts behind that unit that you can use to secure a chair.

When I removed my sofa and installed engineered wood flooring, I knocked the bolts down thru the slide, pulled them out, filled the holes from below, and Eternabonded the holes in the underside barrier. Anything on the slide (chair, ottoman, etc.) gets bungeed while in transit. Seatbelts are gone so RV is now rated for 3 passengers ... no issue for me.

If you decide to leave the bolts, put a nut on top ... they "can" drop down and catch the seal (or body) when the slide is moved ... not likely but possible. Not much of an issue if the couch isn't in a slide.

We have a appointment with Ernie in 3 weeks and can hardly wait. He's going to do our entire coach. I'll post some photos when he's done.

Visiting the factory will find some good deals. If you go to Bradd and Hall you will see prices. I have no connection with them other than purchasing products from them.

I'm having the best time in my 42+ year career. I get to be creative, meet some nice folks and when I get thru- I may even get to mess with my coach
