Question New furniture from Ikea

has anyone used the couches etc from Ikea, was looking at them and there were several in cloth and leather that will fit nice.

Several of the cloth versions were very nice tight fitting covers that were removable for dry cleaning (or replacement)

see here

Most are KD and fit thru the door no issue

I have IKEA in the rec room and its ok but I have my doubts about it holding up to heavy use and the massive climate changes (heat humidity)that occurs in a RV,try it- stuff is cheap enough.

We have several Ikea products in the S & B. Including a Poang chair that does get heavy use . I don't think you will have any more or less issues with
Ikea than with any other product in it's price range. One advantage would be the lighter weight of Ikea couches and it will fit through your door with no problems

Looking at the RV furniture at the Tampa show, they appear to built with about the type of materials in the frame padding etc.

I'm going to take a second look tomorrow at the Ikea options

Well we just got back with a new sofa, otterman and two chairs,
I'll set them up this week.

About 1/3 of the cost of RV furniture, but looks better.
