New gizzmo opportunity
Looking for something to fill the round gap between the sewer hose and the hole it exits through in the bottom of the wet bay. Specifically something that can be added/removed AFTER the hose is thru the hole, deters critters and provides some insulation value better than the air gap.
We are wondering what others use thats clean and easy to add/remove/store. We know about using steel wool, stuffed rag, sewer donught and that not all hoses are the same OD.
With all the gagets/trinkets for the RV market seems this one is yet to be filled for some reason - just saying I must be missing something.

I use a small towel wrapped around the hose and shoved in the gap.

I only connect the hose when I need to dump, otherwise it's stored and the hole has the cap on it.

A sewer hose donut split in half and wedged into the gap will suffice.

I do not fill it but I camp far enough south it does not freeze.
I DO extend the sewer fittings out the bottom using a 5" Clear extension,this way I cna visually verify th tank is empty (or at least no longer draining) and avoid.... Well you hopefully never find out what I'm avoiding (one mel of a hess).
I can put the famous yummy sewer dount around this extension if I choose.

I use old socks and rags around my power cable. I just hook up the sewer hose when I dump

Looks like 1/8 inch plywood with 3 inch hole and then cut it into 2 halves with one bolt holding halves together at one end. A Velcro strip at the other to hold the other end. The two halves rotate to close around the hose like pliers.

Perhaps just the right size rigid, foam pipe insulation, with a slit down the side. ???
