Good afternoon all... I have recently purchased a 2005 Gulf Stream Sun Voyager 8295 and this is my very first motorhome. I had a travel trailer but the last store decided to hurl a few tress at it so we needed to replace it. I have a few questions. In the kitchen there is a lower cabinet to left as you are facing the sink, that has two switches on top and one on the bottom with a light. The switch on the top left is labeled with the "off" on top and the "on" on the bottom. When I switch it to the off position the floor night lights near the bathroom turn on but I have no clue what it is powering when I turn it to the on position. Are the labels just backwards? What does the third switch on the bottom of that cabinet with the light control? In the dinning room slide out I have two lights on each wall but they are not getting any power. I know this because I checked the bulbs and they work just fine. I also know the slide itself is getting power because the plugs in that area are also working. What fuse and/or fuses control this and where do I find them? Does anyone have a layout of the fuse locations and what they control?

Switch with the light, maybe to your storage compartment lights. The lights on your slide may have a switch on the wall and switch on the fixture. Make sure they are both on.

We have a 2003 Gulf Stream Yellow Stone and I can tell you what our coach has, hopefully it will help.
On the front cabinet in front of the sink we have two switches, one operates most of the lights on the ceiling. The other operates bead lights along the floor of the coach. On the side of the sink cabinet we have switch with a light that is the 120 volt for the water heater. Our water heater runs on electric and gas. The lights on the wall, not in the bottom of the cabinets are 120v lights and the breaker for these are in the panel under the bed. Most of the 12v fuses are located in the outside compartment under the drivers seat area. Do you have any 120v outlets on the side of the coach where the lights aren't working? Ours seem to have breakers based on either the left or right side of the coach.

I just reread your question about the lights and see where you did say you had power at the plug. At the bottom of the receptacle where the plug works, is there a junction box or wire molding going into an area between the wall and the floor? Under the plastic is a junction box that feeds out lights on the wall.

We have a 2005 Gulfstream Ultra Supreme MH. On the cabinet below the kitchen sink, beside the door well, we have five switches in two groups. We do not have electric water heater. Three switches next to door are : outside poarch light, Power step&light, and lower compartment lights. two switches on right side are floor toe lignts(kitchen, bedroom) and ceiling lights. Note that overhead lights also have switches on them that also have to be turned on for them to work. 120v circuits have breakers in box at foot of bed. There are separate breakers for plugs and 120v on street side and driver side. Also, most on street side are wired via GFI in bathroom. if it is tripped, all power on that side will be off. There is a 12vfuse panel up under dash, but the main panels are the the front compartment below the drivers seat. Also tere are at least three main circuit breakers on the firewall under the hood. On a visit to the factory, GulfStream gave me a complete set of wiring diagrams for the entire coach. Hope this helps.
