Question New Manufacturer?

Has anyone bought/seen /used the new Nexus class A? I am curious as to build quality/ride quality/finish quality and general durability so far? It looks like a decent product on their website but who's does not?

I like the idea of factory direct (no dealer) except it would be 2500 miles for me. I seen their advertisment in the FMCA Magazine and was intruiged by the concept and the actual asking price (180K) for a 35ft MH It also appears to have a lot of features already on board. I would hope that it would be available in a lower range (-20% to 30%) for actual purchase where similar motorhomes are priced.

The only thing I would want in my current (HR Neptune 09) is the additional front & rear slides and a little more power (340hp to 360hp)

Anyway I would love to hear about it?

Michael

The Bentley (class A) is a strong contender when we retire. Hope to see it at RV shows even though it is factory direct and learn more about it. Hopefully someone will share their views.

There are a few great topics on IRV2 speaking about this manufacturer. Additionally there are a few YouTube videos from the manufacturer speaking about the new unit and options. Good luck!

I looked at the website. They claim to build a top class coach for a mid coach price. I started with configuring their coach and quite quickly found that if you added the options to make the coach the same as a top class coach the prices became similar.

Gordon

IMO, like "GOOD" food, "PREMIUM" tires, and "LOWEST" price on a manufactures website, (or in an printed ad or a commercial), "TOP" class is simply a "BUZZ" word....which means absolutely nothing!

Factory direct - no dealers, who is going to fix the new coach glitches? Do you have to drive/tow it back to the factory?

I went to the pricing guide and added ALL the options! The price came out to $204,619! And that included a $1995 "customization" charge in case someone wants something special such as rearranging things inside. That still sounds like a pretty good price to me!

+2 jplante4 not liking the idea having to go back to the factory every time i need something fixed. Would they pick up on a tow from Tx or AK?

Nexus has a series of RV service facilities throughout the country for service. After watching the video and reading various sources Nexus is open to adding others if there isn't one in your area. Being a direct manufacturer I am sure they are open to qualified service centers. Additionally, any service center can handle issues associated with the various RV equipment such as AC, ovens etc.

Because it is factory direct I suspect the price you got on the website is the final price. I doubt there will be a 25 - 30% discount. That would make the MSRP price at least 272,000.
