Hi everyone. I just heard of this site & thought I'd give it a ride. My wife & I live in beautiful southern California & we just purchased our first real motorhome. It's a 1990 Beaver contessa. We bought it from a real nice lady who just lost her husband & didn't want to travel alone. It's a beautiful all original contessa w/a cat 3208T w/72000 miles. The DP is show room condidtin & we were real fortunate to find it. We are not yet retired but we bought it to tow our race car & stuff to the races & start some pre-retirment activities. Looking forward to talking with you. Have a great day. Mark

You picked a great site to begin learning Mike. There are others, but this one is the most friendly and helpful ones you will find. Good luck with the MH!

Welcome Mark

You can't go wrong with a Beaver with a Cat 3208. I am selling my '91 Hawkins with a 3208 that has pulled my race car for many miles with out a lick of problems.

What type of racing do you do and what car do you have?

Paul

Thanks for the harty welcome guys. In response to Garbageman, we drag race. We run west coast top sportsman. Our car is a retired pro stock car. it runs in the 7.50 et range @ about 190mph. We are stepping up this year to a new motor hopefully that will put us in the 6.70s et range @ over 200mph. Tell me, how did that 3208 you had pull. Was it a 3208T. I still haven't hooked up the trailer yet, we're going to beef up the hitch first. See ya
