For me I have a diesel for the power and ease of driving. My next one will definitely have full body paint for the ease of keeping it looking good. Make sure you find the right floor plan, we like our dinette on the passenger side so we look out onto our site instead of the neighbors front door. We love the coach we now have but you know how it goes there is always room to move on up, maybe someday I'll have one like Jay & Peggy have.

2002 Newmar Dutch Star DP3569 330 CAT - Toad Jeep Liberty, DW is the Nagivator. Work to travel and everything revolves around the price of diesel.

Once again thanks to everyone for taking the time to offer their opinions. We have narrowed it all down to three different units. The first is a 12 Georgetown 378. It has a really neat floorplan which we both like. It is a gasser and will be about $105,000. The second is a 11 Coachman sportscoach 385 ds. It is a new diesel with the 340 hp. cummins. We like the floorplan, but nut as much as the Georgetown. It will be bought sight unseen because it will be shipped down. It is sale listed for $129999. We feel this is a real good price. Both of these units I will need to buy and tow an enclosed trailer for toys and motorcycle. The last one is a Newmar Canyon star 3920 that would sell for just about the same as the Sportscoach. It is a gasser, has a bedroom and would allow us to not have to tow a trailer.

Tough decision. What do you guys think? Thanks again

I think if you buy something sight unseen you will have a big opportunity for problems. Motor homes are not Fords or Toyota's. They build at the very most hundreds not tens of thousands as is the case with Fords. There can be big variations in finished quality.

I personally am much more comfortable with a Newmar product than the other two. But that is due to my own personal experience. The other two may be good products.
