You may want to view the Monaco Owners forums further down the main forum page for comments on the Monarch. How much homework have you been able to do so far?

Monaco builds a pretty nice coach and I think you will like the Monarch. What other brands have you considered? A Fleetwood Pace Arrow in in the same class, (high end gas chassis rigs).

Thanks for the reply. We started looking at Diesels but realized the increased cost couldn't be justified for our age. We have looked at all brands. I have gotten (mostly) positive reports on the Workhorse engine. I know that Monaco went bankrupt and Navstar bought them. They get generally good ratings in quality for there class although not as good as Tiffin and a couple of others. This particular unit on in inventory at the dealer. The price seems to be reasonable. We have had a Class C and B plus currently a trailer but since I recently retired we will be traveling more and wanted more comfort and space.

Congrats on your choice.
Make sure the dealer ensures that the Brake recall is complete before you drive it home and also check to see if there is a recall on the refrigerator (Norcold)
Better to get all complete before you drive it off the lot as some people have had to wait for the recalls to be completed.
