New Michelins

Just back from the tire shop. 2 New Michelin XRV 235/80 22.5 tires, balance, alignment, disposal fees and all applicable taxes = $ 1400.00 Canadian.
2008 georgetown 38 ft. Only 52,000 kilometers. Tire techs figured the alignment was never right from the factory. Even if you buy new, you should have it checked.
A few dollars now could save mucho later. JMHO.

Ouch, I'm due to replace my 4 rears next year ; not looking forward to the $$$$ outlay. Agree with the alignment warning. Chassis manufacturers set alignment before the weight goes on, and most times , it's never reset prior to customer delivery.

Most of the time the units with air suspension don't have a problem if they are set right when the chassis is produced. The ride height valves keep the chassis at the same level loaded or not.
