New Mirada 35bh

We're negotiating the purchase of a 2015 Mirada 35bh. Presently we are extremely happy with our Greyhawk and how well it drives. However our interest in trading up is a space issue.

I'm interested in other folks experience with Coachmem Mirada MH. Also, what type of driving improvement have you made? What type of upgrades have you felt necessary?

Thanks for your advise.

My Coachmen Mirada is about 14 years older than yours, so there probably isn't a lot of similarities. :-)

If yours is on a Ford F53 chassis, you may want to drive it a little bit to see how it handles, then do the Cheep Handling Fix (CHF). This is an easy change to the front and rear torsion bar links (they get moved to a different adjustment position)

Don't spend any money on other stuff to improve handling, i.e. track bars, steering stabilizers, etc, etc, etc do this first. You may find the CHF is all you need to do, and if you do it yourself, it won't cost you anything but about 1 hour of your time.

You can see how mine are done, Yours are very similar. This one item will vastly improve the "squirreliness" of the F53 chassis.

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.
